Buddhist philosophy

Buddhism is a path for us to generate happiness, understanding and love, so we can live deeply in each moment of our life. It is not about escaping life or dwelling in a place of bliss outside the world. Instead it offers ways to handle life’s difficulties and generate peace, joy and happiness right where we are.

My approach to coaching is based on the Buddhist viewpoint that we   already are what we want to become. That what we are looking for is already here, but it can be deeply buried under years of social pressures and limiting beliefs.
You don’t need to become anything or anyone else, just as a rose doesn’t need to become a lotus in order to be happy. As a rose it is already beautiful. You are wonderful just as you are.

"Once you accept yourself as you are,
you allow yourself to be happy."
Thich Nhat Hanh

All the qualities we think we’ve got to find on the outside are already there inside us. We only need to clear away the obstacles that are obstructing your best self in order to reveal them. I help you uncover the sanity and happiness that is already there. We add nothing, we simply subtract what isn't working.

According to Buddhist philosophy it is only when you are able to allow difficult thoughts and feeling to be as they are, that you can heal them. When you are willing to be completely present with things as they are and let go of your ideals about how things “should” be, you suffer less. When you are no longer at war with yourself, and you stop feeling resentment or resistance, to your situation you create a space where real growth and change are possible. You get the clarity to see what you need to do, and have the energy and confidence to actually do it.

The best potential for future change

resides within this present moment.
